Tamsin Abrahams
I am a registered dramatherapist with a Masters degree in Sesame Drama and Movement Therapy. I also qualified with 1st class honours in Psychology from Goldsmiths University. I have a diploma in the visual arts, a gold medal in acting from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA), and have undertaken many Continung Professional Development courses.
I am registered with, and work within the ethical guidelines of the Health Professions Council (HPC, registration number AS12766), and am a professional member of the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth) and the Sesame Institute. I have an advanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check and am fully professionally insured.
My dramatherapy experience includes working with a range of children, young people and adults from numerous cultures. I have worked with people who have wanted help with personal development and building self-confidence, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, anxiety, dementia, autistic spectrum disorder, Asperger's syndrome, learning difficulties, behavioural disorders, bipolar depression, depression, schizophrenia, chronic pain and chronic fatigue.
